Many of the people we serve are older adults, so accessibility isn't an afterthought for SolidRock's website — it's a first-class requirement. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.
1. Measures we've taken
- Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and landmarks for screen readers.
- A larger-than-typical base text size, generous line-height, and strong colour contrast throughout.
- A visible accessibility toolkit offering text-size adjustment, a high-contrast mode, reduced-motion mode, and a read-aloud option.
- Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and decorative elements hidden from assistive technology.
- Large (44px+) tap targets sized for users who may have reduced dexterity.
- Motion and animation that respects your operating system's "reduce motion" preference.
- No reliance on colour alone to convey meaning.
2. Known limitations
We're not aware of any significant conformance gaps at the time of writing, but some third-party embedded content (for example, external booking or map tools we may add in future) may not fully match this standard. Any PDF documents we publish will be reviewed for accessibility before publication. If you find an issue, please tell us — see below.

4. Technical information
This website is built with semantic HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and is designed to work with modern screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver), keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function.
